10 minute site-specific performance

During My 10-day residency in Arnis, Germany with curatorial duo ramoslübbert, I delved into ocean sound phenomena, merging it with my interest in the Siren myth and the themes of power, desire, loss and possession that are intrinsic to it. With the aid of dissociative vocal techniques that I’ve been cultivating over the last few years, I produced two new performances, intertwining song, mythology and scientific fact; each performed at different times of the day to play with shifts in light, temperature, sound and temporality. During one of these performances I was partially submerged in The Baltic Sea, another took place upon a floating raft.
